A relaxing artist led sketching session in an award winning garden. Handmade sketchbook and materials provided, all levels welcome. My name is Emma Johnson and I run Pebbleridge Art Studio & Sketch Walks, I am a local artist and illustrator and I have partnered up with Marwood HIll Gardens to offer this inspiring workshop. This session is designed to encourage and inspire you to try something new or build on your skills. We meet at the Tea Rooms for introductions, an explanation of my creative process and tips before heading off on our sketch walk around Marwood Hill Gardens to gather visual treasures. We return to the tea room to share our findings and create a postcard to send to a friend or keep as a souvenir. These walks are designed to bring you joy and help you to see the world with fresh eyes, to smile and laugh with people you don't know. In my experience it is play and a lack of assumptions that creates the most interesting marks.
