This masterclass run by ArtMakers' founders, Phil Parker and Hilary Beecroft is aimed at both those just starting out and those who need the latest information on some of the various ways in which artists and makers can be supported in 2022. Between them, Phil & Hilary have over 60 years’ experience of working as freelancers in the creative industries from dealing with contracts to grant applications and developing new projects. They set up ArtMakersUK in 2021 for artists and makers in northern Devon and now have over 70 members, over 200 artworks for sale, and run three virtual exhibitions. This session will cover:- Starting Up – Advice and Support Arts Council England funds – Creative Practice, Priority Areas and Levelling Up Charitable Funds Commissions and Competitions Exhibitions Selling online New Digital Opportunities e.g NFTs
